Deadline Approaching for Miss Czech-Slovak Pageant Applications

We're two weeks away from April 2, the deadline for young women to submit applications for the Miss Czech-Slovak Iowa pageant.  Each May, the pageant is held in conjunction with Houby Days festivities in Czech Village.  Pageant contestants compete in interview, talent, and traditional kroje modeling categories; the winner receives a number of prizes and goes on to compete in the Miss Czech Slovak US pageant, the longest-running cultural pageant in the United States.
